• Art I is the study of the basic elements and principles of art. During the first semester, students explore these elements through a variety of two-dimensional media. Students apply these skills and concepts to three-dimensional media during the second semester. Students are expected to keep a notebook, complete writing and sketchbook assignments, maintain a portfolio and to attempt all assigned art projects.
